The Role of Women in the Diplomatic Mediation of Conflicts
In response to the request issued by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation -Directorate General for Political Affairs and Security- to foster initiatives aimed at implementing the Fourth National Action Plan,, adopted in compliance with United Nations Security Council 1325 (2000) resolution, and subsequent resolutions, on “Women, Peace and Security”, the International Diplomatic Institute is hosting an international multilateral conference on the topic “The role of women in the diplomatic mediation of conflicts“.
The conference’s purpose is to foster information, awareness and education about the Fourth National Action Plan on “Women, Peace and Security (2020-2024)“, in compliance with United Nations Resolution 1325 (2000).
