MAECI has signed a new Agreement with the MIUR and the CRUI Foundation for the reactivation, starting from 2018, of the quarterly curricular internships at the Italian diplomatic missions abroad. The new internship program aims to integrate the student’s university education with a concrete experience that allows a direct knowledge of MAECI’s institutional activities abroad.
Given the pre-eminent link between the curricular internships and international careers, internships at Embassies, Consulates and Permanent Representations at International Organizations are intended for students – not older than 28 years of age – enrolled in Master’s degree or single cycle courses that allow access to a diplomatic career. Curricular internships at Italian Cultural Institutes are also extended to students enrolled in other degree courses, as will be specified in each call for applications.
Students are entitled to a refund of expenses, paid by the University to which they belong, in the minimum amount of 300 euros per month.
The call for applications for the second cycle of internships (2 May – 2 August 2018) has been published on the website www.tirocinicrui.it. Applications may be sent via the application form by Friday 16 February. For further information about the minimum requirements and the participation modalities, interested students can contact the Internship/Placement Office of their University and/or write to the following address: tirocini.maeci@fondazionecrui.it.
