Extended the deadline for the “A special normality” photo contest. Delivery by 27 January 2019.

Rome, 15 January 2019 – The deadline to participate in the first edition of the photographic competition “A special normality” promoted by the International Diplomatic Institute together with FISDIR has been extended to Sunday 27 January.

Applications must be received no later than midnight on the day indicated according to the procedures indicated on the websites of the promoters: idi-international.orge.

The best project selected by a jury of professionals in the sector will be awarded a scholarship worth three thousand five hundred euros (3,500 euros) which the photographer will have to use to complete the story in images of the lives of people with intellectual disabilities, with particular regard to the sporting activities in which they are involved.

The aim of the initiative is, in fact, to go beyond the pathology to promote the skills and daily bets of these people both in society and in any sporting discipline.

The competition is open to professional photographers and amateur photographers with age limits. The winning project will be exhibited at an event dedicated to the theme of relational intellectual disabilities scheduled in Rome this autumn.
